HELLO!
My name is Maja (pronounced “Maya”) and I consider myself a professional people watcher. As a keen observer of emotions, details and moments, both special and beautifully mundane, I aim to capture all of these on camera to deliver you stunning images that feel genuine, unforced and are a true reflection of who you are as a couple. The ability to connect with you and make you and your guests feel relaxed in front of the camera is central to my work and I do everything I can to make sure you enjoy the experience as much as the finished product.
I have always had a penchant for observing people, which is why I initially embarked on an educational path in psychology. After completing a Masters degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology and working in research, my academic career got sidetracked in the best possible way when my three children were born. It was during their early years that I rekindled my love for photography (a hobby of mine in my teenage years) and gradually built it into a career. Now, several years and over 250 weddings later, I couldn’t be more grateful to do this as a job.
Helping my couples create beautiful memories of some of their most cherished moments that I know will be treasured for generations to come will always be the most exciting privilege.
